Our role in the rise of the truth…

Recently, i’ve been experiencing a personal shift in my own energies and aligning them to the subtle transitions of our mother, the earth.  I can confidently write 2016 was quite a transformative year; shedding away what is not serving us, although the peeling of the layers was almost a rude awakening… we survived, yearning deep in our hearts an easier future.  Like most of us… we are all here to realise our own truth.  The rise of truth is the theme of 2017, both on a global and personal level these discoveries come with a warning to dig deep in our tool box of support.  No qualification is required acquiring these tools… they come from the heart, and are labeled with compassion and love.

The Phoenix within us all, is rising… releasing us from the shackles of being ‘controlled’ working with ‘institutions’ that bleed creativity out of us and the current ‘status quo’ which keeps us in fear.  We are simply done with fear, we are in a shift of learning about our own power.  It’s not about material power, it is the power of a ‘human uprising’ the only qualification required is peace, love and compassion.

As an astrologer and teacher of yoga… the alignment of the planets, triggers a feeling of  something ‘real’ is going to be experience in this year.  The real is not good and not bad either.  One of the key themes of this year is the concept of relationships… how deep are we prepared to go with one another to realise that we are not separate from each other.  The energy of both the planets, the chinese new year of the Yin Fire Rooster, and the global events… we can see and sense the transformations that will break down our own BS… (belief systems).  And the warning is, not all transformations are easy, it take courage, it takes humility and most of all its takes us on a journey of deep inner work.

In my personal journey as a indigenous person of this planet, I am ready to hold my head above water, find compassion and work towards cultivating love over judgement, forgiveness over power and peace over conflict of any shape or form.

The tools i have and working towards are to cultivate a sense of self-love and acceptance, honouring my needs… making sure that I connect through love with all beings, even if that can be a challenge. This year is about sitting with our shadows and finding the courage to sit with them in order to know our own truth.  To sit with them in manner to learn the deeper teachings they present us.  We cannot learn this truth in books, or with others, the wisdom resides in all of us.  The wisdom is not calculated in the mind, it is in fact held in the heart.  Sitting with this, and perhaps holding your heart can reveal many insights for each of us.  I am fortunate to have great teachers, mentors and guides in my life.  I view them as bodhisattvas deeply grateful for these relationships to bring forth our own shadows into the light. One of the great Mantras of the Sikh faith Ajai Alai is for being in your Power.  “The mantra Ajai Alai was written by the Warrior Saint (and poet) Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs.  He lived in a time of tremendous oppression and led his followers out of virtual slavery into safety and security.  He taught self-worth and grace.  He sang songs of tremendous gratitude to the Divine.  Ajai Alai is a part of the daily prayer called Jaap Sahib, and this particular mantra is like a laundry list of the Divine’s awesome qualities.  It shifts your own vibration by bringing you into alignment with the qualities of the Divine and activating them to turn on inside of you.  It’s like sitting in a space capsule and turning switches on one at a time to activate the engines and take you into orbit.” http://www.spiritvoyage.com
