This is a big one. Rightly so. A solar eclipse is a powerful energy when the Moon in Aries, conjunct Chiron orbits between the Earth and the Sun, creating a shadow giving this deep eerie feeling, touching our Soul. The solar eclipse on 8th April 2024 at 04:20 (AEST), 19 degrees of Aries is an initiation of our Soul identity. The Sun and Moon conjunct to Chiron the wounded healer, mystic, astrologer, magician, warrior, scholar, and initiator to the greatest potential of our evolution, sets a big journey that promises nothing will be like we’ve known before. Everything will come to a point of no return as we get activated to break away from all that we’ve identified as in this life and past journeys.
I’m not going to be light in this blog. The truth is a course correction of our Soul’s journey towards healing. In other words, we’re not going to be the same from this point onwards. Everything we’ve experienced, undergone, explored, identified as or with, including wearing different roles and taking on responsibilities will fade to black. Honestly, if you’re reading this and have no inclination of this activation, where have you been? This is one of the most important, powerful, and universally orchestrated aspected charts for this decade, which impacts all of humanity. One of the most interesting points I would like to add, is the comet 12P-Pons-Brooke will be orbiting close to the Earth during this time.
Let’s roll our sleeves and get a little deep into what this energy is all about. Firstly, eclipses are a time of immense change, inspiration and always redirects our destiny to a path aligned, written or destined by the universe. Secondly, our Soul or Spirit, whatever term resonates with you it doesn’t matter but understand our intuition is high and this part of us is in cahoots with the universe. It always has been, because we come from this space, and we will return to this space. An example that is evident, many people will desire, attempt and travel to America, as this is the path of the solar eclipse going through the Texas region and moving through Mexico will be prominent. If you’re not there already, then you’ll not get there on time. America has announced they’ve cancelled flights that intervene with the eclipse path. Nasa is sending rockets into the sky and CERN is being turned back on.
Thirdly, according to ancient astrology comets bring positive and negative energy into our reality. This comet the 12P-Pons Brooke, comes with three tails and is of red and green in colour. Any comet with more than one tail is a warning to humanity. Chiron’s purpose is for each Soul to crystalise their pain, wound, and issues into light. We’re not here to rerun old programs rather process them and integrate a deep spiritual practice. A part of Chiron’s mythology was to sacrifice his life to release Prometheus from the underworld and take his place. This solar eclipse has many connotations of sacrifice and release, it is a new moon in Aries after all.
Everything that is happening prior to the eclipse is also evident that something is shifting. A new world, a new generation, a new way of being for humanity. This is why I want to dive a little deeper. Aries is the sign of our identity. It is ruled by Mars, who will be in conjunction with Saturn in Pisces. Aries is a fierce force that is simple and knows what it wants. There is no fuss, no overthinking, just immersed in the moment. On a higher octave Aries is a sign of leadership, and guidance, where its qualities are both athletic, powerful, visionary as it always is attracted to what is right in each moment. The lower octave of Aries is war, ruthless, anger, childish, and disruptive. We hold all these qualities. As adults they are more refined and hidden but as children, they are raw, wild, fearless, and careless. Ultimately, Aries is the only sign that resets our identity. It births what we’ve always been, but this comes at a price to ensure we’re not operating as a character of our imagination and trying to appease others by being attractive, manipulative, and accepted when we naturally don’t wholly feel this way. This understanding is both deeply spiritual and psychologically disturbing. Many of us are attached to who we are, as this version of us has worked, while others have consistently embarked on a difficult healing journey only to find themselves back to their heart. Either way, be prepared to give space for our skin to shed and peel away.
Aries is always exploring due to its hunger for identity. It’s the ‘I am’ energy of the individual. The quality that we all hold as we operate in our secret worlds. It is the energy opposing Libra, ruled by Venus, which is about partnership, relationships, balance, order, harmony, judgement, mediation, and peace. This polarity is deep. If we want peace and harmony, we need to understand our role in our world. There is a serious search for who we are and what we’ve become. This all changes, due to Chiron conjunction exact with Sun and Moon. Chiron is a powerful bridge who orbits between Saturn and Uranus. It’s quite incredible, that currently Saturn in Pisces is behind the Sun where Chiron is residing, and Uranus is Taurus after Aries. Chiron rules the synchronicity principle and the art of divination because his orbit symbolises the Saturn the gate keeper of this human world with all of its earthy desires, traps, and experiences once integrated, we’re able to ascend to higher cosmic consciousness, which is Uranus energy. It’s the electronic pulse that transforms our understanding of why we’re here on this planet. Pluto is currently in Aquarius the sign ruled by Uranus, where humanity will go through a process of purification over the next twenty years. Chiron is the teacher of the earth connection to higher planes, which means this solar eclipse is an initiation for us to manifest our divinity.
Chiron conjunct to the Sun, while he is at the exalted nineteen degrees of Aries is a big break down of our origin. Put in a different way, the Sun is with Chiron and the Moon opposing the south node, this will feel like the lowest point of being a human. The Sun in Aries represents our ego, who we are, our role in our world and how we show up. It highlights our confidence by how we show up and operate in our world. When the Sun and Chiron meet, this is a very different energy. This is an invitation for humanity to break away from all the roles we’ve identified with that are not authentic, or we’ve subconsciously adopted because what we experienced in our childhood. Aries represents our childhood. Chiron is asking us to drop everything away that is not in alignment of who you think you are. And, this is not a time to search for who we are, because once we have the wisdom to look at our own flaws, or where we put on a façade to be something, someone, a character or role we play in every area of our life gets striped away, and we arrive to that part of ourselves that has always been.
In ancient astrology, those born with Chiron and Sun together they are destined healers of that generation. Chiron conjunct the north node, in March already initiated and separated those that are going to hold the light to support others. Chiron conjunct the Moon in Aries brings a different energy. The Moon is our body, our inner child, our inner world, our public personality and rules our emotional body. Chiron and the Moon are both activating the feminine energy, through intense emotional frustration. These two bodies go deep into our wound with nature, this is not the trees or animals, but the disconnection we have with our universe. We’ve become so greedy, inflated, and reached the peak of consumption as a collective. There is no room for more. There is nothing in the material world that needs to be further developed.
The Sun, Moon and Chiron has the power for all of us to wear our Soul as our identity, as we’ve not gone through the healing journey of why we put on many faces, force ourselves to achieve things that others want us to do, or our attitude is driven by proving ourself to others or competing with a world or belief system that doesn’t make sense. It is subtle, deep, and very real. We’ll feel the transformation activation at a visceral level and anything that is not real or integral in our hearts will feel empty. This energy brings in fear, confusion, loss, desperation, anger, control, and escapism. It also is the catalyst our humanity needs.
All truth will come to the surface because this solar eclipse is a truth bomb. No matter what happens in the world, or how the powers will attempt every trick in their book to distract us from this birthing, cracking of our shell, we will innately know what truth from a Soul level is. Not everyone will share the same truth. Not everyone will have the same experience. Not everyone is ready for this activation. We must remember we chose to be on this planet at this time for this very reason. All our life experiences have created an identity in which we’ve shaped our world and made choices. These alone create limitation because our experiences, if not integrated into wisdom have the power to control our choices.
Chiron is the key; its glyph is a symbol of the key in your natal chart. This is no ordinary new moon in Aries. It is a moment in life we will reference back to when the evolution of humanity took place. This eclipse will activate chaos and distress on our planet, in every corner of the world. Chiron is a master healer, teacher and will show us our wounds in many different ways. The wounds we’ve not healed, or integrated. Not all wounds can be healed. The Sun is showing us that we’re at the lowest point of humanity. Only at this lowest point are we able to do the work, because there is no escape from ourselves.
If we want to reap the golden fleece of our destiny, then we must find the courage to look at all our fragmented parts that have been terrorised at a Soul level. Think about all the children of war, how will they operate as adults? What will be their driving force? Or think about the children who were born in struggling families, they grow up only focused on material wealth. How about those children that experienced being ignored and emotionally deprived as adults they form emotionally unavailable relationships. This is Chiron’s way to show us personally, where we’ve unconsciously allowed our experiences from the past direct our life and if we’re honest you’ll find the echoes of past pain projected in every choice we make very clearly.
Imagine a world where we’ve looked at these wounds, integrated them from a wise lens of personal lessons. During this eclipse Mars and Saturn conjunct in Pisces and this is quite a fearless, boundless energy that is not afraid of going deep into our spiritual practices. We’re yearning to connect with something meaningful, rich, and Soulful. Mercury will conjunct Eris the goddess that rules pandoras box of sins. It’s a time of communication, listening and observing our own behaviour. This is an inside job. The healing journey is not about phoning a friend, having a conference about what’s the course of action. This is something we need to do on an individual level.
Our healing and operating from our Soul’s identity will birth powerful healers on our planet. Take a moment with yourself. Do the work. Look deeply, without any story about all the choices we make in every little part of our life. Everything needs to be processed so that Chiron may grant us the biggest gift of healers and ascension from the traps of desires and struggle.
